ABOUT CJYF and the SWC....

General Info....

CJYF is a member of the Southwest Youth
Football Conference. Teams in the SWC are: Carthage (2), Carl Junction (2), Joplin (3), Lamar, McCounty, Neosho (2), Seneca,
Webb City (2).

CJYF provides each player with a helmet,
shoulder pads, a mouth-piece and a game
jersey for the first year player.
(The helmet & shoulder pads are to be turned in at seasons end.)

Tackle football is a full contact sport
played in helmets and pads.

All players are required to have a physical
and a birth certificate "copy" at registration.

Games are played on league members HS
football fields, 3-home, 4-away, or vise versa.

All games (7) are played on Saturday.

At the end of each season, the SWC hosts
a Super Bowl Weekend. All teams will
play either a Saturday or Sunday game.

Games begin in early September.
